The proud Feathertails once ruled the Feathertail Forest. But when pride turned to hubris, they were  cursed to slumber for as long as no one wokes them. The forest thrived without them, and is now inhabited by rooster-headed snakes, translucent frogs, rainbow riding rebels, and more. Soon, it will be bursting at the seams.

The Feathertails await

Feathertail Falls is the Mausritter adventure collection where you;

  • Slide down slippery snake skins in Snakes and Ladders.
  • Face the sweltering heat of A Day at the Frog Spa.
  • Sing the songs of the Piano in the Pavilion.
  • Discover the petrifying secrets of the Living Dolls.
  • Brave the tides in The Shimmering Alcove.

What you get

  • An 8 page A5 campaign guidebook containing 19 hexes, 3 factions and plently of items, creatures and settlements.
  • Five A5 trifold adventure pamphlets, each bringing an adventure site on the hex map to life.
  • Player facing maps for each adventure site (digital only), as well as the hex map of the Feathertail Forest and the titular settlement of Feathertail Falls.
  • Five item card sheets; about one for each adventure pamphlet.

Ways to play

  • Mini-campaign - The setting guidebook lays out the Feathertail Forest, a region to explore with mysteries to solve. Each adventure pamphlet describes a place that can be found somewhere within the forest, and has tie-ins with the other adventures and the region itself.
  • One-shot - Each adventure serves as a standalone one-shot, in which you can ignore the tie-ins and just enjoy the adventure in its own right.
  • Drop it into your ongoing campaign - The setting can be dropped into the hexmap of any existing campaign. Give players adventure hooks found on the back of each adventure pamphlet to lure them in.

If you're excited to play, but aren't familiar with Mausritter; the Mausritter TTRPG is a great and rules-light game that you can pick up for free.

Hello! This looks awesome. I would want to use this in print (not PDF). I have a nice color printer with card stock. Would that work for this, or would you recommend waiting for the zine to come back in stock? Either way - how many pages would this be if printed double sided? Thank you!

Each of the 5 adventure sites is an A5 trifold. Those can't be printed at the intended size with regular printers for A4 paper or similar. You can print it at a different size or on multiple sheets, but if you want the intended format, I recommend our printed products. There is some limited stock still available, we just don't have the webstore up in the air right now. But you can reach out at p.elroy [at] gmail [dot] com.

I had the pleasure of playtesting a lot of these adventures as a player, which was such a special experience that I'll never forget. There's clearly so much care and love in the writing, design, and artwork.

We're so lucky to have such a gem for Mausritter.

Beautifully illustrated and designed setting and adventures. They look incredible and include some great stories with unique and interesting mechanics and characters. Excellent world-building and brilliant execution - a wonderful addition to the Mausritter library!

I can't beat that description, so I'll just say: I fully agree!
